  • JM Inc. is looking to hire a Project Coordinator Assistant to assist the Project Coordinator on residential home construction projects. The Project Coordinator Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks for projects from beginning to close including, handling pre-project tasks, creating project schedules, ensuring materials are ready for the project, and communicating with the JM team. This is an exciting position for someone who wants to grow into a Project Coordinator position with JM.

    This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for the construction industry, wants to grow their project management career, and thrives off a fast-paced work environment. They must be organized, observant, prepared, and a master multi-tasker. Experience in construction is not required, but general knowledge is necessary.

    Job Description:

    ·         Building schedules for projects within the project management system and updating as needed.

    ·         Assist Project Coordinator with emails and paperwork, as directed.

    ·         Pre-project planning tasks, ensuring timely completion.

    ·         Material take-offs and ensure materials are ready for projects.

    ·         Work with the JM team to create a successful project from beginning to close.

    ·         Communicate with clients via email and phone, as requested by the Project Coordinator

    Skills/Knowledge:

    ·         Experience in a similar role is preferred

    ·         Knowledge of construction or similar industry preferred

    ·         Extremely organized

    ·         Excellent at planning and being prepared

    ·         Observant and anticipate needs of others

    ·         Task-oriented and efficient

    ·         Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

    ·         Positive and can-do attitude

    ·         Be able to work with minimal supervision

    ·         Knowledge of computers, Excel, Outlook, and project management software.

    Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm

    Job Type: Full-time, Exempt role

    Salary: $50,000-$60,000 annually; paid weekly
