  • JM Inc. is looking to hire a Masonry Professional to do masonry, hardscape, and landscaping projects for our clients’ homes. Our Masons work with stone, brick, stucco and concrete for various home maintenance and restoration projects as well as creating new features and spaces for our clients’ homes.     Job Description:

    Masons complete a variety of hardscape, landscaping, and masonry maintenance and restoration projects on our clients’ homes, which includes working with brick, stone, block, stucco, and concrete.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of masonry related experience

    • Desire to continue excelling in their career

    • Enjoys a variety of work that keeps them challenged

    • Ability to work as a team with the Project Coordinator, the JM crew, as well as with subcontractors

    • Excellent communication skills with both the JM team and our clients

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Excellent problem solver

    • Good organizational skills and desire to keep a clean and organized work area and company truck and trailer

    • Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination

    • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects

    • Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment

    • Comfortable working in all weather conditions

    • Valid driver’s license

    Job Description:

    Our Masons and Masonry Foremen complete a variety of residential masonry projects that include:

    ·         restoring and building fireplaces and chimneys

    ·         repairing stucco and stone on exterior of homes

    ·         hardscape projects that include patios, retaining walls, walkways, etc.

    ·         forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for patios, sidewalks, porches, stairs, driveways, garages, foundations, and seawalls and shoreline restoration

    Our Masonry Foremen take charge of projects and make decisions on what needs to be done. They are hardworking, reliable team players with good communication and organizational skills. They have a can-do, great attitude. They provide excellent customer service while working with our clients and subcontractors. Masonry Foremen lead a crew of 2-3 masons and lead the project site with the support of a Project Coordinator.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of masonry related experience with a strong skill level in concrete work

    • In-depth knowledge of concrete and masonry practices

    • High level ability to problem solve and make decisions

    • Proven experience leading others on the job site

    • Desire to continue excelling in their career with JM Inc
